A beautiful Taiwanese Oolong with incredible floral fragrance and green jujube sweetness that melts in the cheerful singing of spring birds

15,00 30,00

The name of Four Seasons Spring comes from one Taiwanese cultivar called “Si Ji Chun”, which is very strong even in cold climate and can be harvested 6-8 times a year. “Si Ji Chun” tea has good soil and water adaptability and a short dormancy state during the winter. Therefore it has high production in Taiwan.

This tea is machine picked from Nantou county in southern Taiwan. It belongs to the southernmost part of the Bagua Mountain. Due to its unique terrace landform, long-term mountain mist, cool weather and its bright red soil layer,  it’s a perfect natural environment for planting tea leaves.

This Four Seasons Spring oolong is our entry level oolong. Echoing its name, this tea has incredible cape jasmine fragrance and green jujube sweetness that reminds you of the cheerful birds singing from spring. We highly recommend this tea to whoever wants to step into the  Taiwanese oolong wonderland, not only because of its affordable price, but also because it has the charm of oolong tea and the aroma of green tea, suitable for drinking in all seasons.

5g tea to 150ml water

1st brew: 95C, 30sec

2nd brew: 95C, 20sec

3rd+ brews: 100C, add 15-20 sec each time

It can be brewed up to 4-5 brews.
To brew Gōng Fū Chá Style, preheat the teapot before putting tea leaves, and start with boiling water quick brew, around 15-20 seconds.*
For the continuing brews, the brewing time can be increased 5-10 seconds on each brew.**

We don’t like to throw away the first brew (often called “first wash”) because all our oolong tea are high quality and clean, we feel like a waste to throw them away.
** Each tea is alive in this own way, this is just a recommended brewing method. We encourage you to listen to the tea, listen to yourself, feel the tea and experiment with the tea.

(If you discover an exciting method, please let us know, we are always happy to hear and learn from each other! )
