We’re so lucky to have our tea maker Morishita-san from the Fukuroi Roasted Tea Co in Helsinki to do a Roasted Tea tasting.
Morishita-san has been making green tea with Nishitana (which was founded in 1868) and recently started the Fukuori Roasted Tea Co to reconceptualize and promote the amazing Hojicha made in the heart of Shizuoka.
Morishita-san and Okabe-san are approaching Tea Roasting and brewing from a similar perspective as coffee, focusing on extracting the nuances of roast profiles from light to heavy roast.
They look forward to introducing new possibilities of roasting and tea making for you to taste, including serving a Roasted tea latte which you can easily make at your home.
There will also be a bag of 50g roasted tea from the tasting for you to continue enjoying them at home.
