Wagashi Making w/ Momotose (FRI)

We’re so grateful that Yukako Yasuda (Founder of Momotose Wagashi Studio, instructor, and cookbook author) came all the way from Tokyo to host her 1 part tasty 1 part beautiful Wagashi Workshop. Wagashi is a traditional Japanese confection usually served with Japanese green tea made from simple ingredients such as rice, beans, and sugar, and they take on many forms that reflect the four seasons.
In this workshop, you will be guided on how to use the Sankaku-bo (the triangle tool for Wagashi making) and learn how to make two kinds of Nerikiri 練り切り, and also taste Mochi and Nerikiri made by Yukako with Matcha.
Basic Ticket includes the ticket to the 1.5h Wagashi Making workshop. It does NOT include a Japanese made “Sankaku-bo” triangle wood wagashi making tool to take home with.
Apart from the access to the 1.5h Wagashi Making workshop. Bundle Ticket also includes a Japanese made “Sankaku-bo” wood triangle wagashi making tool so that you can enjoy making wagashi at home.
