Pourover Roasted Tea Tasting | Nari Tea x One Day Coffee

In the continuation of our Roasted Tea project with Fukuroi City, our tea maker Jun Morishita from the Fukuroi Roasted Tea Co is back to Helsinki with some further development of roasted tea. This year, we collaborate with ONE DAY Coffee, hosting an open tasting with Jun presenting brewing roasted tea with an innovative pour-over tea dripper “Tokine“.
Jun Morishita has been making green tea with Nishitana (which was founded in 1868) and since 2022 started the Fukuori Roasted Tea Co to reconceptualize and promote roasted green tea (Hojicha) made in the heart of Shizuoka. Farmer Jun and Uyo Okabe approach Tea Roasting and brewing from a similar perspective as coffee, focusing on extracting the nuances of roast profiles from light to heavy roast. They look forward to introducing new possibilities of roasting and tea making for you to taste in the elegant pou-over tea dripper Tokine.
The tasting is free of charge, open from 12 to 15 on 27.1.2024 at One Day Coffee, you can just simply walk in and attend whenever during these hours.
