Morning Japanese Ryu-rei Tea Ceremony by Matsubayashi

Start your day off right with Toshiyuki Matsubayashi and Uyo Okabe in this casual traditional Ryu-rei (table based) tea ceremony experience.
At the ceremony you will not only learn about the traditional etiquette that goes into the Ryu-rei ceremony, but also taste different styles of Matcha such as Usucha薄茶, Koicha濃茶, paired with Wagashi和菓子 tea sweets made by Yukako Yasuda.
The participants will also be drinking from unique handmade Asahiyaki tea bowls, made in Uji, Kyoto – the heart of Matcha – for 16 generations, since 1600s.
