We strive to minimize our environmental footprint.
For Nari, we work to practice the “Heaven, Earth, Human in Harmony (天地人和)” philosophy and to support a sustainable living approach to being with this earth. We work directly with our tea farmers and curate the seasonally available single farm teas without middlemen in between. We believe that all the small things we do daily add up to make a big difference to our mother earth.
We are plastic free. Using packaging that is either biodegradable, compostable, recyclable or reusable.
We hate and we mean HATE single use plastics/packaging. We want to not only minimize our environmental footprint, but also give the customers the option to minimize theirs.
We offer two types of sustainable packaging:
1) Our compostable pouches – industrial biodegradable
They are made from high quality Corn Starch PLA which is 100% compostable with a compostable ALOX inner coating, so when you’re done with our tea, toss this in your local industrial compost * bin instead of the trash, so that it can live its next life – giving life to others.
2) Our Nari Aluminum Tin – next refill 5% off
Whenever you bring our Nari Tin back for a refill of any tea, we will give a 5% discount. A small price to pay to minimize consumptive waste.
