Object Meditation with Tea

We teamed up with our hatha yoga teacher, Jutta, to host a guided object meditation with one chosen object from the Nepali artisanal pieces or an object the participant brings to the meditation.
We will gather for a small tea ritual by Nari Tea, serving a special Nepali tea as a gentle way to arrive into the body, the senses, and the space. From there, Jutta will guide us into a simple practice of focused attention, using the chosen object as an anchor. The practice is inspired by the yoga tradition of dharana — one-pointed concentration — gently leading towards dhyana, meditative awareness.
Rather than looking at an object only through function, use, or explanation, this session invites us to stay with it: its presence, materiality, details, and the subtle relationship that forms through attention – a small gathering for slowing the gaze, settling the mind, and meeting an object through tea, breath, and awareness.
The session is total around 45 mins.
