[Tea Residency] Tasting Tea Together by Gatsby
As the second event in Gatsby’s inaugural residency at nari, this gathering invites guests into a playful and open-ended exploration of tea tasting.
Come be surprised, challenged, and encouraged to think outside the box.
In this fun and social gathering, we explore how differently the same tea can be experienced. Through a guided tasting game, we follow flavours wherever they lead, sharing unusual associations and unexpected impressions along the way.
Tea becomes a space for curiosity, conversation, and connection.
Depending on time and the flow of the afternoon, we will explore one or two teas together.
Walk in anytime — no reservation needed. No previous experience is required.
Max. 12 people at a time. This event is offered on a donation basis. Contributions are welcome onsite by cash or MobilePay.

After ten years exploring tea in Fujian, China, Gatsby has been back in Helsinki guiding people in the quiet arts of flavour and scent. Part lecturer, part explorer, she is in a unique position to bring the essence of tea closer to us all. Tea is her daily language, and her enthusiasm for tea is contagious, as you will soon find out!
